Forgetwell MCP server is live: your AI can now use your second memory
Your notes are no longer just yours to search — as of today, your AI assistant can recall them too.
The Forgetwell MCP server is live at https://mcp.forgetwell.com/mcp. Connect Claude, Codex, or any MCP-compatible assistant and it can search your notes by exact words or by similarity — search car, find the note that says vehicle, in any language — save new thoughts mid-conversation, tidy tags, and set note colors. Always as you, secured by OAuth 2.1, revocable any time.
This is the "your AI recalls it for you" half of the second-memory promise: you write things down without organizing; when you need something back, you don't even have to be the one searching.
A few things we held the line on:
- Your account, your rules. The assistant signs in as you and can do nothing you couldn't.
- No deletes. Notes can be trashed, never destroyed; restore is one call away.
- No lock-in. MCP is an open standard — any compliant client works, today and tomorrow.
Setup takes about two minutes. Full instructions, including Claude Code and Codex configs and example prompts, are in the official guide: How to use Forgetwell MCP?
