Get help with how-to questions, feature ideas, and non-sensitive bugs. Posts are public and searchable, so your question and its answer can help others.
Keep private information out. Don't post passwords, API keys, private note content, email addresses, or other personal information.
Get private help
Email us about sign-in or account access, account deletion, privacy or data requests, and anything containing personal information. Include your device, app version, and a short description of the problem.
We aim to respond within a few business days.
Found a security vulnerability? Email us privately. Don't post it in the community.
Getting started
- Create an account with your email and a password, or sign in with Google or Apple on the web.
- Write a note — that's it. There are no folders and no required filing step.
- Search your notes by exact words in any language. With an account, meaning-based search can also surface a related note when your wording changes.
- Add tags only when they help you narrow a future search. Tags are optional; you can also choose a color from a note's card to make it stand out.
Managing your account
Reset your password. On the login screen choose "Forgot password?" and follow the email instructions. You can also use "Login without password" to receive a magic sign-in link.
Export your data. The JSON export includes your notes, trash, tags, and settings. Uploaded files are not bundled, so save them separately if you need a complete local backup.
Delete your account. To permanently delete your account and all associated notes, tags, and settings:
- Open the Forgetwell app and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you applied for a job, the application is a separate recruiting record and is not automatically deleted with the product account. See the Applicant Privacy Notice, or email us to request access, correction, withdrawal, or deletion subject to applicable recordkeeping duties.
If you cannot access the app, email support@bluelight.ventures and we will delete your account for you.
Common questions
Is my data private? Yes. Your notes and tags are private to your account and are never sold. We share them only with service providers needed to operate Forgetwell or with a client such as ChatGPT when you deliberately connect it and request an action. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I found a bug or have a feature request. Report a non-sensitive bug or share an idea in the community. For bugs, include your device and app version. If the details contain private information, email us instead.
