Need help with Forgetwell? This page covers the most common questions and how to reach us. Forgetwell is a note-taking app that works like a second memory — capture raw thoughts and recall them instantly — available on the web and on iPhone and iPad.

The fastest way to get help is by email. We aim to respond within a few business days.
Please include the device and app version (Settings shows the version) and a short description of the problem.
Getting started
- Create an account with your email and a password, or sign in with Google on the web.
- Write a note — that's it. There are no folders and no required filing step.
- Use search to recall any note instantly: exact words work in any language, and meaning-based search can surface a note even when your words don't appear in it.
- Add tags when you want extra structure — filter by them in the sidebar and give them priorities.
- On iPhone and iPad, open the app and sign in to the same account to access your notes everywhere.
Managing your account
Reset your password. On the login screen choose "Forgot password?" and follow the email instructions. You can also use "Login without password" to receive a magic sign-in link.
Export your data. You can export all of your notes, tags, and settings at any time from the app.
Delete your account. To permanently delete your account and all associated notes, tags, and settings:
- Open the Forgetwell app and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you cannot access the app, email us at the address above and we will delete your account for you.
Common questions
Is my data private? Yes. Your notes and tags are private to your account and are never sold or shared. See our Privacy Policy for details.
